Located in the Viroqua Public Market (mainstreet Market) Uncle Dom’s Kitchen was built out of a lifelong connection to food, hands-on kitchen experience, and a desire to create something of my own here in Viroqua.

I’ve spent years working in restaurants and management, learning what people actually enjoy eating—not just what sounds good on paper. That experience shapes everything we do here. The goal isn’t to be trendy or overly complicated—it’s to make food that’s satisfying, consistent, and worth coming back for.

Our menu is a mix of comfort food, sourdough baking, and house-made items alongside carefully selected ingredients that help us run an efficient kitchen. Some things are made completely from scratch, like our sourdough products and select baked goods, while others are built in a way that keeps quality high and service fast. We believe in being real about that.

You’ll find everything from salads and other Vegetarian/Vegan meals to baked goods, sandwiches/wraps and fermented items like kimchi, sauerkraut & hot sauce. That mix reflects my own interests—classic food done right, with some influence from fermentation and preservation techniques I’ve developed over time.

At the end of the day, Uncle Dom’s Kitchen is about good food options for everyone, fair pricing, and creating something local that people can rely on.
